At long last, after one computer crash and a holiday, here is my Vid of the Brighton WNBR.

My first time doing the Brighton ride - and second time to conduct interviews. What a great day it was! The people were so friendly and the weather turned out okay in the end.

Kudos to the organisers!

This was filmed with two GoPro Hero cameras, one on the handle bar and the other attached to the rack. I have alternated between the two cameras to put this together.

This one was in London on Saturday 13th June 2014, the meeting point Hyde Park. A very good natured event, seemingly enjoyed thoroughly by locals and tourists alike. Wonderfully organised and run and makes for a fun day out. Spot everyone's favourite amiable chap. 🙂

El sábado 06 de junio de 2015, a partir de las 9:00am se llevó a cabo el World Naked Bike Ride en las calles de Guadalajara.

El WNBR es manifestación ciudadana y civil sobre ruedas, en la que sugieren a sus participantes manifestarse tan desnudo como sea posible.

El objetivo de esta manifestación es que los participantes se sumen para protestar y crear conciencia al fomentar el uso de la bicicleta como un transporte sustentado en la energía y locomoción humana, para dar así una visión al mundo de que la bicicleta es un medio de transporte libre de contaminantes, segura, benéfica para el cuerpo y la salud. A corto, mediano y largo plazo representa entonces un beneficio de salud pública y una contribución al bienestar individual, por ende, familiar.

Los objetivos de este movimiento internacional WNBR:

-CUESTIONAR LA EXCESIVA DEPENDENCIA DE COMBUSTIBLES FÓSILES
-RESPETO AL CICLISTA Y AL PEATÓN, ¡DESNUDOS ANTE EL TRÁFICO!
-PROMOVER EL USO DE TRANSPORTES DE LOCOMOCIÓN HUMANA, MÁS EJERCICIO = MEJOR SALUD.
-ENALTECER TU FUERZA E INDIVIDUALIDAD CORPORAL.

Es una manifestación pacífica y lúdica.

La participación es voluntaria.

6-27-15. a yearly event, 10 to 20,000 bicyclists take to the streets to protest use of fossil fuels, womens rights, minority justice, whatever excuse to ride around the city naked without fear of punishment, this is the first of several videos, this is an hour before the race hits the streets of S.E. Portland.

This year, instead of just showing people who were cycling, I decided to carry out a few interviews. This is the first result. My second ride this year was in Brigton the next day. That video to come soon.

Rest Stops on Brighton and Bristol World Naked Bike Rides 2015 with music.

These are the stars who keep us dancing at the WNBR in Brighton.

This video is also a tribute to Paul Smith who passed away in August 2015. Paul was a marshall at many of the rides in various places in the UK as well as having co-organised the first ride in Cambridge.

I hope that putting this video online goes according to the wishes of Paul's family. Should anyone hear otherwise, I'd be grateful if you could let me know.

With over 10,000 in attendance this was by far the largest World Naked Bike Ride in Portland's history. 90º and muggy at 10pm, it was like Portland's very own Burning Man under the Hawthorne Bridge. Screw oil dependence, screw body shaming, screw violence, go WNBR!!!

The 2015 World Naked Bike Ride came to an end near Portland's waterfront. The sun had set and the after party was just around the corner. As the cyclists/nudists came to a stop we were treated with dancers and silhouettes on the loading docks around us. We saw a man on one of these docks cheering the crowd and spraying them with a water bottle. Glenn went up to share a joint with the guy who called himself John Paul.

Manchester Naked Bike Ride 2015

This is a short video of this years 10th Annual York Naked Bike, similar rides take place in over fifty cities around the world and thousands of riders participate worldwide, including around 3,000 in the UK each year.

The World Naked Bike Ride, is a peaceful, imaginative and fun protest against oil dependency and car culture. A celebration of the bicycle and also a celebration of the power and individuality of the human body. A symbol of the vulnerability of the cyclist in traffic. The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is an international clothing-optional bike ride in which participants plan, meet and ride together en masse on human-powered transport (the vast majority on bicycles, but some on skateboards and inline skates), to "deliver a vision of a cleaner, safer, body-positive world.

The dress code motto is "bare as you dare". Full or partial nudity is encouraged, but not mandatory. There is no mandate to cover intimate parts; this is a distinguishing feature of the WNBR against other cycling events.

The 9th Brighton World Naked Bike Ride took place on Sunday 14th June 2015.
Hundreds of people took to the streets of Brighton for one of many World Naked Bike Rides taking place globally.
It was a fun, vibrant carnivalesque protest with a serious main message; Stop Global Oil Dependency.
Many chose to ride for other environmental issues as well as to highlight the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and to celebrate cycling and body freedom.
