World Naked Bike Ride, 8th June 2019, London, Tower Hill Start

Part 1 is based on two Garmin video files. 57 minutes of rear facing video from which I removed most of the waiting around and swapped parts for front facing footage. I’ve not attempted to colour correct or volume match the clips. After hours of editing I get fed up of looking at the video. I’m there as a participant shooting video not just to make a video. Ironically the only footage of me naked on my bike is in other people’s videos.

Forward facing SJCAM 4000 action cam mounted on the handlebars; rear facing Garmin Virb Elite mounted under the saddle; Canon HR R706 for handheld shots.

Most, if not all, of the groups from the various start points had met by the start of this video. My front camera battery ran out shortly after we set off so this is mostly rear camera footage. Some parts, in deep shade in narrow streets, were quite dark so I shortened them. In retrospect I should have shot more at the end of the ride but by then I was tired, hadn't eaten for about nine hours, and just wanted to get dressed and find food.

Not something that i would do but most people in the crowd seemed to like it and see the funny side of life and in the times we live we need a bit of fun now and again

This is one single clip straight out of the camera showing most of the ride in the finishing stage of the ride. An edited full ride video and a highlights video will be produced later. The protest followed seven routes, covering somewhere around 65Km of London streets in a carnival-style procession as the WNBR protest campaign used its fun, legal, and eye-opening spectacle to draw attention to its worthy objectives.

WNBR is a world-wide campaign, with a number of linked themes. Its objectives are to:
- Protest against the global dependency on oil
- Curb car culture
- Obtain real rights for cyclists
- Demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on city streets
- Celebrate body freedom

Contains some NON-SEXUAL NUDITY.

It was a fun day.
Hundreds of cyclists took part in a naked bike ride aimed at celebrating the human body and campaigning against dependency on fossil fuels.

The mission of WNBR : The World Naked Bike Ride is a global protest movement with rides in cities around the world, raising awareness of issues such as safety of cyclists on the road, reducing oil dependence and saving the planet.
WNBR operates in many cities around the world. There is no single reliable source of information as not all rides keep their entries up to date.
